What's in it for the community?

A major overhaul of these bells is well overdue. Our vision is to create a first class facility for the training of new ringers and for the enjoyment of all, that is available for future generations.

How much will it cost?

The total cost is estimated to be around £95k. This includes the cost of all building works, the new bell frame, two new bells, all new bell fittings, removal and installation costs, an enhanced silent bell training system and improved tower heating and lighting.

How long will it take?

Provided we raise the necessary funds in time we hope to start with the removal of the existing bells in the summer of 2022 and all being well all works will be completed by the end of the year.

Why be a bell ringer?

There's more to bell ringing than you might think. We enjoy the mental and physical challenge of creating rhythmical changing patterns with the bells. Bell ringers are a sociable multi-age bunch of people with a shared interest.
